Letter 1, August 25, 3/13/12

Dear Charlie,

Sorry about your problem, bro.  First time I have ever heard from you and that is a pretty depressing story.  I know a few people who have lost a close person relatively early in their life and the one thing every one of them have come to accept is that life keeps moving, regardless of whatever problems you may encounter.  You just have to pick up the pieces and keep on truckin'.
I enjoy how you described the school day and situation at home, which reminds me, it is true that everyone has problems at home.  People have more severe problems than others, in fact, I know two people that got kicked out of their homes (one twice and has not seen his parents since, as he tells me though even to this day I am still doubtful he is 100% serious), lots more people are still facing other problems like parents who are not the absolute best at caring for their children.  Back to the description, it was surreal and engaged me in your story but did not let me get so far involved because you told it all from your point of view.
Life will always get better, even if those higher parts may not be what you expect, they always turn up eventually.  I've gotta go, chat ya later, cheer up, too.
